Boys’ basketball

Iroquois’ Antonio Sullivan hit seven three-pointers and scored 33 points in a 112-69 rout of Holy Cross on Tuesday.

Portland Christian’s Raymond Shutt scored 33 points in a 73-64 win over Evangel on Saturday.

Pleasure Ridge Park’s Kerry Benson had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 70-50 win over Shawnee on Friday.

Collegiate’s Jack Galloway nearly had a triple-double with 19 points, 18 rebounds and eight blocks in a 61-46 win over Burgin on Saturday.

Jeff Brooks had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds for Doss in a 38-31 win over DeSales on Friday.

Fairdale’s Evan Lanham had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 70-53 win over Western on Wednesday. Samuel O’Garro had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors.

Evangel’s Matt Fulks had a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds in a 50-36 win over Providence on Friday.

Atherton’s Tashad Myers scored 26 points in a 72-55 loss to Seneca on Friday.

Kentucky Country Day’s Armani Randolph scored 25 points in a 64-48 win over Villa Madonna on Saturday.

Girls’ basketball

Butler’s Tia Gibbs had a triple-double with 26 points, 11 steals and 10 rebounds in a 82-50 win over Central on Friday and scored 34 points in a 70-59 win over Magoffin County on Saturday.

Fairdale’s Ceira Ricketts poured in 35 points in a 75-56 win over Bullitt East on Friday, and teammate Whitley Briggs added 24.

Fern Creek’s Monique Reid scored 28 points in a 61-43 win over Jeffersontown on Friday and had 29 in a 79-31 win over Whitefield Academy on Saturday.

Ballard’s Lateidra Elliott exploded with 34 points, moving into third place on the team’s career scoring list, in a 61-57 loss to Manual on Friday. She finished the game with 1,169 career points.

Sacred Heart’s Elizabeth Campbell had a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds in a 70-63 win over Newport Central Catholic on Friday.

Pleasure Ridge Park’s JoJo Lavender had a double-double with 12 points and 20 rebounds in a 55-51 loss to Highlands on Saturday.

Atherton’s Samantha Coleman scored 23 points in a 75-44 win over Doss on Tuesday.

Doss teammates Terri Covington and Channel Baker scored 24 and 21 points, respectively, in a 79-42 win over Collegiate on Wednesday.

Iroquois’ Kayla Hickman scored 24 points in a 74-61 win over Jeffersonville, the No. 2 team in Indiana’s Class 4-A, on Thursday. Teammate Adia Mathies had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in a 68-66 win over Boone County on Saturday.

Assumption’s Thia Gholson had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 58-56 win over Mercy on Friday.

Christian Academy’s Clair Buchanan had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a 56-35 win over Bullitt Central on Saturday.


Fern Creek teammates Kevin Stewart (135 pounds), Malcolm Jackson (140 pounds), Ben Barger (145 pounds), John Wolsiefer (160 pounds), and Deon Chaney (215 pounds) won their respective weight classes as the Tigers took first place in the Jefferson County Tournament of Champions at Eastern on Saturday.

Dan Smith (112 pounds), Jacob Barton (119 pounds), Brad Hitchings (152 pounds), and Josh Lewis (189 pounds) each won for second-place Trinity.
